This is a Foto Talk with more promotion than I generally believe in.  But I worked so long and hard on my new website that I just had to share it.  I updated many images and added a bunch of new ones.  Take a look and let me know what you think.  Please, if you see something that you think could be improved, make suggestions in comments below.  Don’t be shy!

Here it is:  MJF Images

Below are a few more examples.  Click on the image to go to the gallery on my site where it’s located.  Thanks so much for all of your support.  And please keep Paris in your thoughts.

I also have a gallery devoted to people, but I couldn't resist sneaking animals into a few. I used to own these two horses.

  1. Hello! Good stuff here, please keep us posted.

  2. Fantastic photos and they bring a smile to my face. Thank you!

  3. beautiful

  4. I had a most pleasant meander around your website. Fantastic photos. I hope you are able to make some good sales.

    • Thanks Lyle! I didn’t even set it up for sales, since usually people just contact you anyway. In fact I haven’t even done any SEO or other online marketing. It definitely interferes with what I want to do with my photography. I know what kinds of images tend to sell and how to do them, but that will take me away from where I want to eventually be as a photographer.

  5. Well done on your terrific website, Michael! Bookmarked!

  6. Love your website and your blog. Your photos are an inspiration and your blog helps me put some of that inspiration into action. Thanks so much for all the effort you put into your work.

  7. Each photo on your site is more breathtaking than the last! I’d love to see more of your shots from the Sian Ka’an biosphere. Went there a few years ago with my family. An amazing experience. Keep up the great work, Michael. Best, Melissa

    • Thanks Melissa! Yes I’d like to go back too. I know I had a really romantic moonlight shot, from the porch of my cabana looking out to the Caribbean. But couldn’t find that one darn it. There’s one other image on my site from there, it’s an abstract from a speeding boat.

  8. Beautiful images and your web site looks great!

  9. Your photographs are stunning – I have just visited your new site and I am blown away by your images. The lighting is amazing. Good luck with the site – I am sure you will do very well 🙂

  10. I’m sort of wondering it the photos are better without the description. The galleries would look cleaner without that, plus you are reiterating what is in the photo. Or maybe only display the words if someone clicks on the photo. The photo title is ok though.

    • Yes Patrick I went around and around with that. I believe strongly in titles and captions (and written about the photo not the photographer!). Not many of my images are easily identifiable as to location, a few are. But I try for a clean look. Thought I set it up so that captions only show up when you mouse over, but that may be only when they’re by themselves on the page (rather than in the grid collage all together). I’ll check that though, thanks!

Please don't be shy; your words are what makes my day!
