I really appreciate all of you. This is by far my favorite thing to do online, and you all are my favorite online friends. In many ways this is better than Facebook, Twitter and the others. It’s funny, but the sites that involve the least work or commitment seem to be most popular. Of course they do have a valid purpose. While this platform works well for creating something, those sites are great for sharing with friends. You get to share both your own stuff as well as that of others which strike you in some way.
In fact, I want you to feel at ease sharing any of my images or links to posts on your social media site of choice. I’m on Twitter & Facebook both, but have been active on Twitter much more than Facebook. Also don’t be shy to like/friend/follow. My posts & images appear on Tumblr, and I share them on G+ too. I’m tossing around the idea of Instagram. I have to wonder where this will all end!
Please accept my sincere apologies for not checking up on your blogs lately. I haven’t had much opportunity while I’m on the road, because of rather sparse and slow internet connections. That’s not to make an excuse for it, just saying I’m sorry and thanks a bunch for sticking with me anyway!
Meantime, enjoy a few images from one of my favorite state parks in the country, Snow Canyon State Park, Utah. It gets very little snow, being named for a couple Utah pioneers. One of them had the name Erastus Snow. Name your next boy-child Erastus and enjoy the Facebook chatter! The two images at top and bottom are from outside of the park, quite close to the biggest town in southern Utah, St. George.

Mochi balls (iron concretions) weather out of sandstone and collect in cracks at Snow Canyon State Park.

I appreciate hearing that Annette.
Those first two pics with the warm yellow tones are just beautiful. The state of Utah should buy those from you and use them for travel ads! just my humble opinion….
