A bridge over Panther Creek in Washington’s Gifford Pinchot National Forest almost fades into a misty rainy dusk evening.
I haven’t posted a black and white image in awhile. This was quite a productive trip last time we had real weather. Stood right in the middle of the creek for this one. That really is a stunning picture. I like the fogginess that forces you to look closely to notice everything in the background (like the bridge and the trees).
Thanks very much!
Beautiful scene.
I am generally not predisposed to black and white (only too happy to leave it behind when colour was invited) but this photo really strikes a mood.
Thanks Lyle, always love when people like something they don’t want to like, or something like that.
Did you get your feet wet when you took this misty river photograph?
Yes Mary, along with everything up to my waist.
