Two nice May Day views of the River of the West, from the western Gorge, looking downriver as Lewis and Clark did. In fact this is the area where they first started noticing tides, and realized they had made it to the Pacific.  It was a grey day, damp and soggy, but I went out to the Gorge because I got restless and was hoping for a spectacular sunset (it can happen on rainy days around here).  I got a mostly cloudy sunset, but blue hour afterwards was quite nice, and I took the bottom one well after the sun had gone down (30 sec. at f/10).
