North side of Mt Hood: I skied up Cooper Spur today in cold, beautiful conditions. Typical return to truck about an hour after dark, but there was one heck of a huge moon. I also got a cool self-portrait, which normally I’m allergic to, but this is how I like to be remembered for posterity. And that unusual flare behind me makes me wonder what it would be like to be a holographic projection of myself. Top image is looking down the Hood Rive valley, with the historic Cloud Cap climbing lodge in the foreground and Mt Adams in Washington in the background.
