A greater bush baby sampling sap of the thorn tree (it’s favorite) in Vwaza Wildlife Reserve, Malawi. I camped just below these trees, and occupied myself for an hour or more just trying to get a decent shot (with no spotlight eyes). Amazingly athletic, the pair was busy leaping distances of more than 8 feet from branch to branch, tree to tree. I caught this one licking some sap by pure luck. I thought the shot was yet another bust. Strangely, they never once called, with their characteristic sound of a baby crying.
