So I leave Utah behind, finally.  I spent a couple days in St George, visiting Snow Canyon State Park in beautiful light.  I spent the night there, and the next morning was just gorgeous for photos.  Weather started to get a bit windy and wild towards afternoon, so I repaired to a cafe, then headed west into the Nevada desert once it got dark.  I traveled through Vegas again, spending long enough to grab an oil change, visit a gym and get a shower, and not much longer.  I don’t like that town, never have.  I-15, that oft-traveled interstate between Vegas and L.A., actually traverses a beautiful patch of desert, a nice mesquite – agave – cholla – Joshua Tree community characteristic of California’s Mojave.  This is what the sunset above shows, in SE Calif.  The other photos were taken in Snow Canyon State Park, Utah.
